Designed for new birders and beginners, these workshops will help you develop your bird-watching skills while learning more about our feathered friends and their world. Join for one workshop, or both! All ages welcome and we will have binoculars for you to borrow. Registration is required for this free event. Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat, and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but will be cancelled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Kayaking programs are weather and wind dependent. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking $7 or free for Regional Parks members.
