Let’s paddle! We’re calling all seniors to join us for this special kayak exploration of Spring Lakes’ aquatic ecosystem. We will experience a peacefully paced paddle around the lake, taking time to socialize while spread out on the water. Throughout, we’ll keep our eyes open for the ‘dragon’-flies of Sonoma County and learn a few things about these ancient insects. Kayaks, paddles, safety gear and instruction provided.
Due to COVID restrictions there will be limited space available and we will be closely following health order protocols. Please bring and wear your face mask, practice social distancing and bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat, and sunscreen. Heavy rain cancels but most programs are rain or shine. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking $7 or free for Regional Parks members.
