Deepen your connection to the natural world through sketching and writing. Explore, observe, and identify the inspiring flora and fauna of our Regional Parks. Each session includes instruction on specific artistic techniques. Please bring journal, pencils, pen, watercolor palette, and folding chair to allow for distanced seating. All artistic abilities at these sessions designed for adults.

Sketching Terrific Trees – Meet the fascinating world of oak woodlands, while sketching trees, mosses, barks, and lichens. We will practice recording observations while exploring the many species that rely on an oak tree habitat.

Due to COVID restrictions there will be limited space available and we will be closely following health order protocols. Please bring and wear your face mask, practice social distancing and bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat, and sunscreen.  Heavy rain cancels but most programs are rain or shine. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking $7 or free for Regional Parks members.
