Discover the real ‘dragons’ of the sky who have been around for over 300 million years! We will talk about the history of dragonflies, have a closer look at what has allowed these insects to stick around, and talk about who are some of our local 'dragons' and where to find them while kayaking.

Due to COVID restrictions there will be limited space available and we will be closely following health order protocols. Please bring and wear your face mask, practice social distancing and bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat, and sunscreen. Heavy rain cancels but most programs are rain or shine. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking $7 or free for Regional Parks members.
