By Sonoma County Parks (other events)

Saturday, December 4 2021 3:30 PM 5:00 PM PDT

ABOUT ABOUT

Bring your rain boots because this could get a little muddy! Join the park ranger and explore the tidal mud flats surrounding Westside Regional Park. The park ranger will discuss the ocean and the impact of the tides on specific creatures in the Bodega Bay Harbor. You may even be able to dig up some clams. Bring your sense of adventure and warm clothes that could get a little dirt on them. Some spare rain boots will be available if needed. The cost is $10 per person in county and $12 out of county and registration is required. Parking is $7 or free for Regional Parks members. For more information, contact Carson Hunter at [email protected].

Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat, and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but will be cancelled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Kayaking programs are weather and wind dependent. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request.
