Deepen your connection to the natural world through writing and sketching. Explore, observe, and identify the inspiring flora and fauna of our parks. Each session includes instruction on artistic techniques. Please bring journal, pencils, pen, watercolor palette, and folding chair to allow for distanced seating. All artistic abilities welcome! Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat, and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but will be cancelled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Kayaking programs are weather and wind dependent. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking $7 or free for Regional Parks members.
