More than half a mile of Sonoma Creek flows through Maxwell Farms Regional Park & Larson Park. This creek is important habitat for Coho Salmon, running from the Mayacamas Mountains to the San Pablo Bay. Regional Parks is inviting the community to help us remove litter and other debris from this important watershed. Tools, materials, gloves, drinks and snacks provided. Meet in the parking lots of each park for a short safety talk and to pick up supplies. Registration is required for this free volunteer event. Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat, and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but will be cancelled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Kayaking programs are weather and wind dependent. Accommodations will be made for participants with disabilities upon advance request.
