By Sonoma County Parks (other events)

2 Dates Through Feb 27, 2021

ABOUT ABOUT

This park is an important link in the wildlife corridor connecting the Mayacamas Mountains to the north and Sonoma Mountain to the southwest. Regional Parks has performed prescribed burns and mechanical removal of invasive plants to maintain the habitat value of this land and to reduce exotic fuel loads. Now we need your help! Join us as we remove French broom, Himalayan blackberry and other invasive plants. Tools, materials and gloves provided. Info: 707-565-3356

Due to COVID restrictions there will be limited space available and we will be closely following health order protocols. Please bring and wear your face mask, practice social distancing and bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat, and sunscreen.  Heavy rain cancels but most programs are rain or shine. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking $7 or free for Regional Parks members.
