ABOUT ABOUT

Come be a part of ringing in a new season – autumn – by enjoying a walk through the parks at twilight. We’ll learn what it means to be in a new season and why some cultures make celebrations out of equinoxes. We’ll hear different animal sounds as they make their way into the night. We’ll be doing a variety of different quiet activities to focus our attentions to our surrounding landscapes. Registration is required for this free event. For more information, contact Katja Svendsen at [email protected]. Bring your sense of adventure, we will meet in the parking lot.

Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat, and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but will be cancelled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Kayaking programs are weather and wind dependent. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking $7 or free for Regional Parks members.
