Learn the essentials of kayaking while enjoying a fun paddling experience with your peers. Gain confidence on the water and learn paddling techniques, different types of strokes, launching and landing and effective communication and signaling. We’ll provide kayaks, paddles and life jackets – just bring a great attitude for a good time on the water! Ages 10-14.
Due to COVID restrictions there will be limited space available in each program and we’ll be closely following health orders and additional safety protocols. Please bring and wear your face covering, practice social distancing and bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat, and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but will be cancelled during heavy rains. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking $7 or free for Regional Parks members.
