The Russian River flows from Cloverdale to the Pacific Ocean, passing through nine regional parks. This park is named after a sunny and sandy beach that naturally occurs at a bend in the river. We’re inviting you to help us remove litter and other debris to prevent it from polluting this important watershed. All tools, gloves and materials will be supplied.

Due to COVID restrictions there will be limited space available and we will be closely following health order protocols. Please bring and wear your facemask, practice social distancing and bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat, and sunscreen. Heavy rain cancels but most programs are rain or shine. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking is free for volunteers.
