INVASIVE PLANT REMOVAL

By Sonoma County Parks (other events)

4 Dates Through May 02, 2020

ABOUT ABOUT

Lend a helping hand for Bodega Bay’s wetlands by removing invasive ice plant. Ice plant is a coastal shrub native to South Africa. It forms a large, thick mat that chokes out all other native plants and alters the soil composition of the environment. Removing ice plant allows native, endangered plants to repopulate the area and wildlife to thrive. All ages are welcome and Regional Parks provides gloves, tools, drinks and snacks.
