What is interpretation? How can powerful and purposeful communication help us achieve our Sonoma County Regional Parks' mission? This interactive three-day workshop will immerse you in the subject of interpretation through hands-on activities, group discussions, hikes, and visits from outside experts. You will learn basic interpretive theories and practices and will leave with a plan to lead either a short interpretive roving conversation or a planned program.

·   Kasey Wade, Faculty & Program Coordinator, Environmental Conservation and Park Management Program, Santa Rosa Junior College

Time  9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day

What to Bring:  Comfortable clothes and shoes to participate in workshop activities and go for a hike, mug, hat, water bottle, bag lunch, notebook, Smart phone or laptop for Day 3 (if you have one)
